  • Author: Eliza Nooman
  • Total Time: 1 hour 35 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 fresh jalapeños, finely chopped (add more for extra spice)
  • 1 pack of bacon bits
  • 1 bag of frozen hash browns

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, half of the cheddar cheese, bacon bits, jalapeños, and hash browns to the cream mixture. Stir until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and sprinkle green onions over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing. Shred the chicken finely for a uniform texture. When chopping the jalapeños, you can adjust the amount according to your spice preference.
