Description

Crockpot Chicken  Pasta is a rich and zesty chicken and pasta dish made in a slow cooker, letting it do all the work! It is a comforting and satisfying meal with a creamy, Italian-inspired twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 lb uncooked pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken, ensuring it’s well-covered.
  3. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
  5. After cooking, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Set aside.
  6. In the slow cooker, add the heavy cream and uncooked pasta, stirring well to combine.
  7. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker, mixing it into the sauce and pasta.
  8. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
