- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 lb uncooked pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour the chicken broth over the chicken, ensuring it’s well-covered.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
- After cooking, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Set aside.
- In the slow cooker, add the heavy cream and uncooked pasta, stirring well to combine.
- Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker, mixing it into the sauce and pasta.
- Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
